In order to preserve national traditions, creating a festive atmosphere for rest, under the New Year and Christmas holidays from 19 December to 20 January at the Cathedral Square of Chernivtsi held a Christmas fair. This is reported in the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Chernivtsi City Council.

The contest invited entrepreneurs and masters of crafts for the implementation of the New Year and Christmas trade:

souvenir production (pottery, wool, leather, wicker, wood, metal, etc.);
Goods for children (toys, Christmas ornaments);
 gifts, books etc.
bakery, confectionery and original festive goodies (sweets, products made of chocolate and caramel, dumplings, cakes, cookies, decorated with patterns of New Year and Christmas themes);
Production of beekeeping;
restaurant management products (dishes of national cuisine);
mulled wine, hot drinks (tea of ​​various flavors, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.).
